All units incorporate a high performance internal GPS receiver, analog data modems and a powerful micro controller to provide a powerful set of advanced features. Listed here are many PRYME GPS-4100 models for both Portable and Mobile Radio use but we can also interface to almost any radio you have even if not listed on his web site, just call us to discuss your requirements. All PRYME GPS-4100 models include special firmware letting them operate both as a reporting terminal and as a Base Station. Base Station units can be connect to the USB port of almost any computer for tracking all group units, we even include a FREE copy of our popular CheckPoint™ software with every unit. Larger systems might use a Base Station Unit (BSU models listed below) which is a rack mounted unit located at the radio network or central dispatch center. BSU units are typically used only in very large systems. If you already have a GIS/AVL software PRYME can provide a simple interface specification to be used by your software developer and many software suppliers have already interfaced to the PRYME GPS-4100.
