Throat Microphones are fantastic for High Noise environments like Race Tracks, Factories, Rock Concerts, or for use under protective clothing (Hazmat Suits).

We use the finest materials and our microphone transducers are true electro-magnetic units not the cheap elements used by lower price products. Electro-mechanical microphones produce a better quality of audio which is especially important for modern Digital Radios.

Pryme is pleased to offer two different styles of High Performance Throat Mics. The PREMIUM model SPM-2500 Series features a soft neck strap and either an acoustic tube or pin-jack style earphone. The GLADIATOR Series (SPM-1500) is the hard collar type with two Microphone elements for maximum performance. The SPM-1500 includes an acoustic tube earpiece and you can add the Optional P-NAP Ear Plug kit to either the SPM-1500 or SPM-2500 Acoustic Earphones for up to 29dB of Ear Protection.

Both SPM-1500 and SPM-2500 come with a large, easy to use PTT switch and Radio Interface Cable. Both of these cables are easy to detach and you can even purchase extra cables to use your Throat Mic on other types of radios.
